| American rock band Paramore will be appearing in Aberdeen as part of their newly announced UK Arena tour for 2010. The band’s only Scottish date will be at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press & Journal Arena on Saturday 20th November 2010. Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director says, “We are delighted AECC has been chosen as the venue for Paramore’s only Scottish show for this tour. I am sure the demand for tickets from Scottish fans will be immense.” The 2010 arena tour comes after a sell out UK tour in late 2009 and the release of their third album ‘Brand New Eyes’ which is the bands highest charting album to date. Paramore's song "Decode" was the lead single from the soundtrack of the highly successful film “Twilight” in 2008. The band, who formed in Tennessee in 2003, have released three studio albums in total; ‘All We Know Is Falling in 2005,’ ‘RIOT!’ in 2007 and their most recent ‘Brand New Eyes’ in 2009. Seated and standing tickets for Paramore go on sale on Friday May 28th at 9am and cost £22.50 + booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster on 08444 77 9000 or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult and must purchase a seated ticket. |
