Jazz Up The Trossachs, the Callander Jazz and Blues Festival, takes place annually around the beginning of October. The Festival is centred in the Trossachs town of Callander, the eastern gateway to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. It is truly an area of outstanding beauty and historical and cultural interest. The event offers over 50 live performances, spread over 22 different and interesting venues in the Trossachs. It features a host of local, national and international musical performers playing different styles of Jazz and Blues music.

A constant programme of live performances over the festival makes for a marvellous atmosphere in the town and surrounds. Over and above the bands and artistes individual performances, there are Jazz Cruises at  Loch Katrine, a Sunday Jazz Parade for all, Open Mic and Jam Sessions for both Jazz and Blues musicians, and workshops hosted by top professional instrumentalists.
School bands play in the town Square, and even the tones of soft Jazz can be heard at the local Church Service on Sunday morning.

The Callander Jazz and Blues Festival is now firmly established on the U.K. Festival Map, and is one of the largest rural festivals of its kind in Scotland.

Join us in the heart of Scotland for a long weekend of first class entertainment, amongst the early Autumn splendour of the Trossachs.
