THE UGIE FOLK CLUB INFO, STUARTFIELD...

The Ugie Folk Club started its days in Longside at the Bruce Arms.  The club was known as the Longside Folk Club at that time (early 1990s).  Since then, we have had a home in various pubs in Mintlaw, Strichen and now in the Crichie Inn, Stuartfield.  The club prides itself in being informal and welcoming to performers and audience alike.  Everyone is welcome to take part at our club nights and they are always great fun, especially our legendary raffle!

Keep an eye out for the annual Ugie Folk Festival, normal folk night on the Friday, then on the Saturday, a free concert in the theatre at Aden Park, followed by a grand concert in the evening, in the public hall in Stuartfield near Mintlaw. All rounded off with an open music session at the Crichie Inn on the Sunday.

*Playing at the festival this year - fiddler Carol Anderson and The McCalmans*
